Travel Health Services

Our doctors are experts in the medical risks of travel, and can give you accurate and up-to-date advice on how to protect yourself when travelling overseas.

What will happen when I come to the clinic?

  1. FORM
The receptionist will ask you to complete a form containing your details and some questions about your trip, health and allergies.

  2. DOCTOR
The doctor will call you through for a consultation, to discuss your particular trip, including the level of accommodation, and locations you may visit within the country, with an emphasis on whether malaria is a risk in those locations. The doctor will suggest vaccinations appropriate for the trip, medical kits for self-treatment of travellers diarrhoea etc, malaria tablets, and can answer any other questions you may have, such as altitude sickness, contraception, DVT, seasickness or managing pre-existing illness such as asthma.

  3. NURSE
The nurse will take you through for the vaccinations. All vaccines including Yellow Fever are kept on the premises. Don't worry if you are a bit of a sook! our nurses are very experienced, and will look after you very kindly. We are quick and kind to children, and try hard to give them a good experience.
